The Centre for Vocal Art and Ancient Music (Centre d’Art Vocal et de Musique Ancienne, CAV&MA) was created in 1984 in Wallonia, Belgium.

The CAV&MA developed first sustained activity in the field of dissemination of music, thanks to ensembles who have clearly stated their reputation over the years: the Chamber Choir of Namur, the baroque orchestra The Agremens, the Symphonic Choir of Namur, the Opera Choir  of Namur and from 2015 the Millenium Orchestra.

On the other hand, the CAV&MA is also active in the field of the training of young singers and instrumentalists to practices of the Ancient Music.

Finally, the CAV&MA ensures the artistic direction of the Music Festival of Namur (a part of the Festival of Wallonia), which proposed each year in July a series of concerts of high quality organized in exceptional locations of the historic town.
